When it comes to Mandarin Oriental hotels in Morocco and Hong Kong there’s a very flavourful French connection. Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech hosted a pop-up by chef Richard Ekkebus, Culinary Director at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. Boasting two Michelin stars, the chef presented his contemporary version of classic French cuisine to diners at the resort’s Mes’Lalla restaurant on February 1 and 2.

Among his many awards, Ekkebus received the Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite from the President of France, in 2015, in recognition of his contribution to French cooking – so this is certainly a pop-up to remember.
