Four Seasons has unveiled a new Time Travellers’ Package in London. Guests of the Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf can stash their watches, phones, laptops et al, and visit an era before such technological trappings.
Guests will first set sail to Greenwich and visit the National Maritime Museum for the Ships, Clocks and Stars: The Quest for Longitude exhibition, which marks the 300th anniversary of the Longitude Act of July 1714.
Next up is a visit to London’s Royal Observatory, which is currently hosting the Longitude Punk’d exhibition. The observatory has commissioned nine British “steampunk” artists to create works inspired by the technical inventions presented to the Board of Longitude between 1714 and 1828.
The hotel is also offering a customised map as part of the Time Travellers’ Package, which contains several clues to hidden treasure, revealed at the end of the day’s adventuring.
The Time Travellers’ Package at Four Seasons Hotel London at Canary Wharf starts from GBP 290.00 based on two people sharing a Canary Wharf City Room. Available from July 15, 2014 to January 4, 2015, the experience includes:
- One night accommodation for two inclusive of breakfast
