Westgate Hotel San Diego has added an impressive 10,000 square foot rooftop deck to the city’s skyline.

The space now hosts a heated Junior Olympic-sized pool and enhanced facilities for fitness, leisure and events. Hollander Design Group took charge of the development, which includes a landscaped wall by GreenScaped Buildings.

The roof’s running track is one tenth of full size, but the entire deck can host up to 340 guests, who may have to fight over the Jacuzzi. The downtown hotel’s 223 rooms are styled with European décor and the lobby is a recreation of one of Versailles’ anterooms.

Since 1970, the rooftop has hosted thousands of events and has been visited by a roster of A-listers, from President Gerald Ford to actress Kate Hudson.
