Rosewood Munich made an indelible mark on the Bavarian capital when it opened late last year. Continuing to impress, the hotel has introduced five ‘Houses’ each paying homage to the Bavarian royal family. The regal touch extends to the objets d’art and bespoke crockery, custom-crafted for each house by the Royal Palace of Nymphenburg. Residential-style interiors juxtapose timeless grandeur and modern comforts, with London-based Tara Bernerd & Partners at the design helm. Named after the first King of Bavaria, König Maximilian I House is an entertainer’s delight. The building’s original features are complemented by a light-filled living room and a 12-seater dining table.

The small courtyard, a rarity in the city, adds to the charm. The House can also integrate three additional suites to welcome up to eight guests. Prinzessin Augusta House impresses with an expansive living and dining space with seating for 10 guests, complemented by a fireplace and a large private terrace overlooking Munich's iconic sights. For more intimate extended stays, Prinzregent Luitpold House can seat up to eight guests for dinner and offers a cozy courtyard. König Ludwig I House occupies the top floor of the hotel with high ceilings and large windows letting the sunlight flood the living area with a fireplace and an outdoor terrace. Notably, Prinzessin Ferdinande House has a suspended glass bridge connecting its living areas, offering guests a perch above the streets of Munich.
