The Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner kit is comprised of two individual natural cork, fabric-trimmed units, a master flight station and a refreshment case that will fit neatly into the rear of the vehicle. Inside a piano-black veneered drawer (with a saker falcon crest) are GPS tracking antennas, tools, tethers for the birds and a 3.5” wood-handle Buck Knife, while a laser-embossed Hotspur hide stowage tray has compartments for the GPS bird-tracking unit, binoculars and handcrafted leather hoods and gauntlets for the feathered hunter.
The highlight has to be the removable transportation perch and tether on the car’s central armrest, which depicts a soaring saker falcon, the marquetry created using 430 individual pieces of wood sourced from all over the world and handcrafted over nine days. “Falconry is regarded as the sport of kings in the Middle East, so it was vital that the kit we created was as luxurious as it was practical and durable to appeal to our valued customers there and around the world,” said Mulliner director Geoff Dowding.
