The longest river in the world looks set to enjoy another glamorous addition to its waters with the news that Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) will launch a new Nile riverboat.
Set to be the luxury travel company’s fifth riverboat in Egypt, it is expected to take to the water in late autumn 2025.
While the name of the new Nile riverboat has yet to be revealed, voyagers can expect a ‘high-end floating hotel’ that offers two restaurants with verandas that serve up delicious Egyptian dishes, a swimming pool and sundeck, as well as a spa and gym that offer the chance to relax and rejuvenate.
When it’s time to retire for the evening, guests will have the choice of 32 cabins that all come with floor-to-ceiling windows, Juliet balconies and marble bathrooms. For those wishing to elevate their stay, plump for one of the two presidential suites that come with their own outdoor hot tub and private deck.
Currently operating four riverboats on the Nile –Nile Adventurer, Sun Boat III, Sun Boat IV and Zein Nile Chateau – A&K has yet to announce the fifth riverboat’s schedule, so watch this space for the latest updates.
