Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur promises to bring the brand’s unique blend of modern Asian luxury and traditional oriental wellness to the bustling Malaysian capital when it opens by mid-2018. Perched on the top seven floors of the Banyan Tree Signatures Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the urban resort will feature 55 rooms and suites, most of which will look out over the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower.
From well-appointed 51 sqm entry-level rooms to sprawling 200 sqm suites, all of the rooms feature signature aromatherapy essentials and chromotherapy showers, while the suites also feature private relaxation pools. The highlight of this sky-high urban escape is the ‘high touch, low tech’ Banyan Tree Spa, which has four couple’s treatment rooms.
For an authentic taste of the Malaysian rainforest, one of the rooms is fitted out with signature Rainmist therapy, which combines rain shower and steam bath to replicate the jungle experience and prepare for an indulgent massage or body treatment. Like the resort’s sister property in Bangkok, Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur will boast a to die for rooftop bar called Vertigo, which sits proudly on the 59th floor rooftop.
