If you can’t spare US$40,000 a night to stay at The Abu Dhabi Suite but you want to experience the luxurious pad, then this dining experience could be for you. Since it debuted two years ago, the world’s highest suspended hotel suite has been the private enclave of high-rolling VIPs and whoever made it onto their guest lists, but the “sky suite” is about to get a little more accessible.
The St. Regis Abu Dhabi has announced its new “Brunch in the Clouds” concept, beginning Friday April 29, with subsequent events on the last Friday of May, July and August. The exclusive “brunch journey” is limited to just 50 guests in the expansive two-storey suite that spans the 48th and 49th floors of Nation Towers.
The experience begins in the hotel’s grand Reception Hall where guests are met by one of the hotel’s butlers who will escort them to the Abu Dhabi Suite’s private elevator. Then, 220 metres above sea level, guests will find a cinema full of candy, a caviar ice bar and mixologists available to attend to every request.
There’s also the opportunity for diners to take a break and sample the suite’s private spa facility for shoulder massages by therapists from the hotel’s Remède Spa, with manicures available for ladies.
The AED150,000+ per night suite spans 2,200 square metres and offers regular overnight guests a dedicated butler, spa, cinema bar, two kitchens and a grand piano. The suite has unrivalled views of the city from its lofty vantage point and, when night falls, the ambience is unparalleled thanks to the 19 Bohemian crystal chandeliers.
Brunch in the Clouds is exclusively for adults over 21 years and is available at AED400+ per person or AED650+ with bubbly per person. Reservations can be made via restaurants.abudhabi@stregis.com.
