Dubai’s iconic seven-star resort hotel blows out 15 candles this year with a premium Best of the Burj package.
The offer from Burj Al Arab involves a stay in a two-storey suite, Rolls-Royce Phantom airport transfers, a six-course degustation dinner and a spa experience, starting from AED 5,990 (US $1,630) a night.
The 170 square metre suite spans two floors and boasts views of the Gulf. In-room dining is an option, but guests may prefer to dine at the signature Al Mahara restaurant, where they can indulge in a six-course A Taste of Al Mahara tasting menu.
His and her massages are also included in the package, blending Shiatsu, Thai, Swedish and Balinese techniques at the spa, which is 150 metres above sea level. A full set of Hermès amenities are also included, along with private butler and daily in-suite breakfasts.
Opened in December 1999, the Jumeirah hotel stands on an artificial island and remains the third tallest in the world at 321m, runner up to the nearby JW Marriott Marquis Dubai (355m) and Rose Rayhaan (333), also in the emirate.
