Japanese luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises is inviting guests to embark on an adventure around the seven kingdoms – or at least the closest equivalent.
The hit TV show, based upon George RR Martin’s as-yet-unfinished series of books, will be the inspiration for a new cruise adventure around the production locations that help depict the varied and dynamic continent of Westeros.
A special half-day land excursion will also be offered as part of a week-long luxury cruise aboard Crystal Serenity, which sails around the British Isles.
The “Enter the Game of Thrones” Crystal Adventure will also be offered as part of a 14-day transatlantic trip from Dublin to Boston, which calls at Iceland - the setting for the somewhat bleaker scenes in “The North”.
Crystal guests will have the chance to experience mythical medieval life with archery lessons, costume changes and castle tours, according to the firm's website.

Guests visiting Belfast will travel to the shores of Strangford Lough, location of 18th century Castle Ward and estate, which includes Forest Park and Audley’s Castle.
The 820-acre landscape and medieval buildings were pivotal sites for the show’s first and second seasons, such as northern stronghold Winterfell and Robb Stark’s campgrounds.
“Both show fans, and those who’ve never seen an episode, can immerse themselves in a fascinating, fantasy world, while connecting with the beautiful history and countryside of Northern Ireland in a very unique way,” explained John Stoll, the liner's vice president of land programs.
The first episode of the show's fourth season aired just last week, picking up the complex drama from the second half of Martin's third book, A Storm of Swords.
The August cruise will sail from Dublin to Belfast and Londonderry, Northern Ireland; Galway and Cork, Ireland; Portland, England; Saint-Helier/Jersey, Channel Islands; and Dover/London, England, with three maiden calls en route.
The September voyage sails from London or Southampton to Guernsey/St. Peter Port, Channel Islands; Waterford, Dublin and Belfast, Ireland; Reykjavíc, Iceland (overnight); Halifax, Nova Scotia; Bar Harbor, Maine; and Boston, Massachusetts.
Fares currently start at $3,405 and $4,925, respectively, per person.
