After a year of interrupted travel plans and cancelled celebrations, making special moments for the entire family to enjoy is more important than ever. That was the thinking behind Fam.ily, a new collection of family experiences created by Shangri-La Group.
Drawing on the brand’s Asian heritage and strong family culture to create a selection of family-focused experiences designed to bring the whole tribe together and forge lasting memories, Fam.ily will be introduced at four Shangri-La hotels in Mainland China this summer.
At Shangri-La Qinhuangdao, guests will be transported back to the Qin Dynasty to embark on a theatrical programme of events that will help develop communication skills and solve problems while working as a team, while role play elements will help build leadership skills.
Visitors to the brand’s hotel in Sanya can take the opportunity to learn how to surf with an experienced trainer, while guests at Pudong Shangri-La Shanghai and Kerry Hotel Pudong Shanghai will be able to learn more about the city through a series of pro-led sporting activities including running, swimming and cycling.
