Homegrown, Dubai-born restaurants 3Fils and BRIX Desserts have made their way to Abu Dhabi for the very first time as a three-month fine dining culinary collab with Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara.
If you’re a foodie, you’ll likely already have eaten at Asian restaurant 3Fils, in its harbour-side location in the heart of Dubai. Or if not, it will certainly be top of your must-visit list following its addition to the Michelin Guide Dubai as a Michelin-listed restaurant last summer. Either way, trust us when we say it’s worth making the journey to Qasr Al Sarab for 3Fils alone.
The exclusive pop-up is housed in the resort’s Royal Pavilion, turning it into an unique destination dining space, with limited-seating experiences taking place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings until the end of March 2023. Inspired by an around-the-world gastronomic experience, the pop-up presents a 12-course tasting menu (go hungry or wear stretchy clothing!) introducing its diners to some of the world’s most exciting cuisines through a combination of visual and gustatory storytelling.
The three part journey - The Odyssey, The Expedition and The Discovery - each comprises four dishes, paired with different craft drinks. Think tuna potatoes, wagyu and ginger with smoked salt, crispy tuna uni, Thai soft-shell crab salad, and Norwegian salmon carpaccio, followed by winter cheesecake, caviar pearls with yuzu, lime sesame and white truffle. With panoramic views of the Empty Quarter, this really is dinner with a show with a difference.
