Marking the brand’s debut resort in the Caribbean, Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada is set to open in May 2024, enjoying a pride-of-place setting between the ocean and a protected cove on the southern part of Grenada. Surrounded by nature, and bursting with bold colours and scents, the resort maintains a connection to Grenada’s ‘Spice Island’ heritage.
The resort will offer 56 pool suites, with organic and contemporary interiors featuring open-plan bedrooms, each with an outdoor terrace leading to a private plunge pool for a cooling dip. 15 villas enjoying prime hillside or beachfront settings, ranging between one, two, and four bedrooms will also be available. Influenced by the region’s traditional architecture, the design language mimics a Caribbean village bursting with variety along the lakefront promenade and beach.
The sprawling landscape caters for the active, complete with outdoor fitness trails and jungle gym, and for the more reflective, with quiet locations for meditation, forest bathing, labyrinth walking, sensory foot reflexology, fire rituals and candlelight yoga. The signature restaurant, SeaFire, features a Raw Bar and wood fire grill, where the communal plates are designed for sharing. Callaloo is the all-day-dining restaurant, with farm-to-table dining; the poolside Panquai Breeze Bar serves up Churrasco and Scoop café offers complimentary frozen treats.
The spa is uniquely set overlooking the lagoon, with a state-of-the-art gym and a yoga pavilion with treatments that draw upon age-old local traditions and the healing benefits of indigenous plants and herbs. The Experience Center offers a unique itinerary to explore the island at leisure.
