Swedish automotive manufacturer Koenigsegg has once again proven itself to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of hypercars. The Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut recently broke the 0-400-0 km/h world record, completing the run in an astounding 27.83 seconds. This surpasses the previous record set by the Koenigsegg Regera in 2023. Not only did the Jesko Absolut break the 0-400-0 km/h record, but it also set three additional world records for a fully homologated, standard production car.

These included the 0-400 km/h time of 18.82 seconds, the 0-250-0 mph time of 28.27 seconds, and the 0-250 mph time of 19.20 seconds. The Jesko Absolut, in its standard configuration, was used for the run, with only minor modifications for driver safety. The data collected was verified by Racelogic HQ in the United Kingdom. Christian von Koenigsegg expressed his confidence in the Jesko Absolut’s performance and hinted at potential future record attempts with the Jesko Attack model.
