Five years since famed Taiko restaurant opened its doors at Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam, Executive Chef Schilo Van Goevorden is honoring the milestone with an all-star celebration, featuring five of the world’s leading chefs.
The exclusive four-hands dining experience will take guests on the journey Schilo has taken to become the chef he is now, with each of the five guest chefs having influence Schilo in some way throughout his career.

Diners can expect beautifully composed dinners with modern Japanese influences, to traditional French cuisine in combination with Schilo’s signature dishes.
The event kicks off on November 3 and 4, with Albert Adria, known for the world-famous restaurant, El Bulli, where they’ll pay tribute to the Nikkei cuisine - the best part of Japanese and Mediterranean gastronomy. Next, in February 2020, it’s the turn of self-taught chef Hisato Hamada, the mastermind behind the $180 sandwich, ‘wagyu katsu sandy’, and co-owner of Japanese concept-restaurant, Wagyumafia. In March 2020, Schilo will cook with three-star chef Gerald Passedat, owner of Le Petit Nice and, according to Schilo, the world’s best fish chef. In April, top chef Bobby Geetha, Corporate Exec Chef for Asha’s group of restaurants, will visit Taiko. The fifth and final chef? Well, that’s a surprise you’ll - but we're certain it will be worth waiting for.
