Peninsula Hotel Paris opens on August 1 but the party will echo worldwide. The hotel chain is celebrating with “All Things French”, a France-themed series of events and additions to mark the opening – more than eight decades after the first Hong Kong flagship.
The festivities will continue to the end of the year and include a range of themed food promotions. Each Peninsula hotel will offer brasserie-inspired menus in all lobbies for the duration, as well as French-themed Afternoon Tea and other delicacies will be offered alongside Parisian music.
Guests will also be able to sample delectable French fare with a glass of Champagne or other popular French drinks such as the pre-dinner apéritif.
Along with the shared festivities planned across the hotel group, some properties will also have their own distinct way of celebrating “All Things French”.
On July 14, The Peninsula New York and Wall Street Journal will co-host a Bastille Day dinner event with French-themed décor, while Beijing’s rooftop Yun Bar and Lounge will host a St. Tropez party on July 18.
