A boutique umbrella maker has revealed the perfect accessory for London tourists and cartography lovers - although you might not make too many friends if you open it up on the Tube.
Britain’s own London Undercover has designed a distinguished way to stay dapper and dry as you navigate the UK capital. Upon opening this umbrella, an expansive and comprehensive colour map on London is revealed.
Rainy days are never far away in the Big Smoke, so the traditional-style wooden brolly would soon come in useful. Measuring 89cm, with an 18 cm handle, the map umbrella has a press stud closure, metal runner and tip, with a beech handle and shaft.
The brand was established by Jamie Milestone in 2008. A designer by trade, Milestone sought to reinstate the umbrella as a prominent fashion accessory. Many London Undercover products are made using recycled materials and minimal waste.
Manufactured in the UK, the must-have accessory is available in-store at 20 Hanbury St, London, or via MrPorter.com.
