Donna Karan has listed part of her family retreat in the Turks and Caicos Islands for $39 million.
The fashion designer is selling seven acres of the beachfront property, which spans more than 10 acres in total, having owned the property since 2002, according to Regency, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate.
The property for sale has two guest villas flanking a central dining pavilion. There are three pools, a yoga pavilion on the beach, a chef’s kitchen and other buildings, including staff quarters.
The duplex villas are 358 square metres, boasting four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen and pool.
“Flanked by lush vegetation, the home directly fronts powder-soft white sands and turquoise waters, offering panoramic views of the island's pristine surroundings,” according the property’s listing.
“Designed by Cheong Yew Kuan, the villas' crafted interiors are complemented by cedar and coral walls, teak furniture, and eclectic works of art from around the globe. A screened-in guest pavilion sits adjacent to the wooded terraces, while a chef's kitchen and yoga studio are further highlights,” it continued.
